2. Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria
Graduate Scholarship
To qualify for a Graduate Research Scholarship, applicants must:
- Submit an application and fulfill the entry criteria for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne, or
- Be actively enrolled in a graduate research program at the university.
Undergraduate Scholarship
To be eligible for the Melbourne University Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold citizenship of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not possess permanent residency in Australia.
- Have completed secondary education outside Australia or a foundation program within Australia.
- Receive an unconditional admission offer for an undergraduate course at the University of Melbourne.
- Achieve a secondary school result placing them in the top 3%, such as:
- GCE A-levels: At least three A* grades.
- International Baccalaureate (IB): Achieve a minimum score of 43.
- US High School: GPA of at least 3.9 with a SAT score of at least 1500 or an ACT score of at least 31.
- Canadian Secondary School: Attain an overall score of at least 97%
- Indian Secondary School: Overall score of at least 98%.
- Vietnamese High School: Secure a Year 12 GPA of 9.7 or higher, demonstrating exceptional academic performance.
- Not have previously engaged in any tertiary education (excluding extension studies undertaken as part of a year 12 program).
How To Apply
Graduate Research Scholarship
- New students who apply for a graduate research course by the application closing date will automatically be considered for the scholarship.
- Students who have deferred commencement of a graduate research course offer to be reconsidered for a scholarship must submit an online application by October 31.
- Currently enrolled graduate research students seeking a scholarship must submit an online application by October 31.
Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship
- Students will automatically be considered for this scholarship upon application for an undergraduate program at the University of Melbourne.
