This was made known through the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
Ja’afaru Ahmed, the board’s secretary, requested all applicants to visit the CDCFIB Career Portal to check their status.

- Once on the portal, locate the section for checking the shortlisted candidates.
- Enter your Application Code and Phone Number in the provided fields.
- Submit the information to verify your status.
If you have been selected in the shortlist, further information regarding physical screening and evaluation will be communicated to you. Do not forget to follow the instructions, which provide details on the further recruitment process.
