Participants in this category are expected to write an original essay of about 1,500 words. The essays should explore how technological skills can address social and environmental issues, such as developing apps for healthcare or education, analyzing data for social justice causes, or creating digital tools for environmental sustainability. Judging will focus on originality and the logical presentation of ideas.

Secondary Category:

  • Write on this topic: Exploring Alternatives to Cybercrimes for Sustainable Development.

Secondary school students are required to compose an essay around 1,000 words in length. These essays need to present clear and creative alternatives to cybercrimes, showcasing how young people can use their energy and creativity in positive online pursuits like digital art, music, writing, or entrepreneurship. Judges will primarily focus on how clear and original the proposed solutions are.

Submission Guidelines

  • Word Count: 1,500 words for tertiary category and 1,000 words for secondary category.
  • Formatting: Double-spaced, Font size 14, Century Gothic.
  • Deadline: Submissions must be sent between Thursday, August 8, 2024, and Monday, September 9, 2024.
