The Family Economic Advancement Programme (FEAP) has decided to extend its application deadline by an additional six weeks, now set to close on Friday, September 4th, 2024.
This extension is a response to the needs of applicants who are still in the process of completing their submissions. If you haven’t applied yet, this gives you some extra time to get everything in order.
About FEAP Grant
FEAP is an initiative designed to empower Nigerian families by promoting self-reliance and economic growth within communities. The program focuses on supporting both agricultural and non-agricultural projects across the country’s local government areas.
By doing so, FEAP aims to encourage the development of small-scale industries and other ventures that can provide sustainable income for rural populations.
The main goal of the program is to tap into the resources available in rural areas, helping to establish profitable businesses and projects that can lift these communities economically.
Whether it’s starting a small farm or launching a local craft business, FEAP Grant is all about giving people the tools they need to succeed.
According to a recent statement from the program’s coordinators, over 50,000 applications have already been submitted since the application window opened on June 21st, 2024.
Despite this number, FEAP is still eager to receive more applications, particularly from Nigerians aged 18 to 65 who have been verified through the National Identification Number (NIN) system.
It’s important to note that only applicants who successfully verify their NIN will be considered for the program.
For those facing issues with NIN verification, the program offers support. If you’re having trouble, you can send your NIN and RRR number to NIN.support@feap.ng for assistance.
Selected applicants will receive a monthly grant of ₦100,000 for a full year, which can be a game-changer for anyone looking to start or expand their business.
